The Humphrey ADE-circle breathing system uses flows between 300-500 ml/min for animals under 100kg. No need to go higher than the recommended fresh gas flow rate. If you do go higher than the recommended flow rate then you are wasting anaesthetic agent and washing out all the saved warmth and humidity.
As any other anaesthetic breathing circuit, leak tests need to be done at least once a day, before administering your first anaesthetic.
